I hope everyone enjoyed our Christmas in July meet on Tuesday! What a fun way to wrap up this season’s home meets! We had some really awesome swims & we are so proud of each and every swimmer.

Shout Outs

• Taylor, Salem, & Leighton finished 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the 25 fly & they all remembered a 2-hand touch at the end!
• Baron, Isaac, & Jaiden rocked the backstroke finishing 1st, 2nd, & 3rd!
• Connor dug deep & didn’t take a breath from the flags to the wall on his 50 fly finish to clench 2nd place!
• Tanner & Hudson won every event they swam!
• Gibson, Jaiden, & Lucas stepped up & swam 50s to fill in some missing relay spots

TSA Championship Meet

Last year we had 20 athletes attend this meet & would love to have more this year! It’s a really fun experience that gives the kids a glimpse into the exciting world of year-round competitive swimming & provides them the opportunity to watch and swim against some really talented swimmers.

What: End-of-season meet with all of the TSA teams in an Olympic-size pool

Where: Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary

When: July 22nd - 7:30 am -10 & under warmups, 11 & up warmups start no sooner than 12:30 pm

Entry Fees:

Individual Fees: $6.00 per individual event

Relay Fee: $10.00 per relay event ($2.50 per Swimmer)

Swimmer Fee: $10.00 per swimmer

Fee collection: Venmo @garnerdolphins or write a check to Garner Dolphins for the sum for your athlete’s individual events (give checks to a BOD member). The team will cover the expense for relays.

How to Enter: You can declare your swimmers & choose their individual events through the website just like you do for our regular meets. Please do this by Saturday, July 15 at 8 pm, so the coaches have time to determine if we have enough swimmers for relays.

Details:

• 6 & unders will swim a full 25 without a kid catcher.
• 6 & unders can swim 2 individual events & 2 relays
• 7 - 10 year-olds can swim 3 individual events & 2 relays
• Swimmers must be able to swim the strokes legally.
• Only swimmers & coaches are permitted on deck. Families can watch from the spectator area.
• 25-yard pool with a depth of 7 - 12 feet
