Garner Dolphins dive into the upcoming season

The start of the season is just around the corner!
If you haven’t already, please sign up for a club membership and register your athletes for the swim team.

First day of practice is Tuesday, May 28th at 6:15 pm. Age group practice schedule can be found here: https://garner.swimtopia.com/practices.
Parents meeting will start at 7:00 pm where we’ll welcome new families, go over what to expect for the season, and share helpful resources on the website like
It’s not too early to get your athlete outfitted with team gear. Team swim suits can be purchased at:https://www.swimoutlet.com/collections/garnerdolphins. If you prefer to have your athlete try on a suit and purchase in person, All American Swim in Cary is a great option. Team shirts in the next week or two. Caps will be ready the first week of practice. One latex swim cap is included with your swimmer’s registration.
I’m excited to let you know that we’re implementing the TimeDrops timing system this year! This is going to make timing much easier, accurate, and transparent. We’ll be testing the new system during the mock meet and need volunteer timers. Please sign up to be a timer for the mock meet, here: https://garner.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.
We’re also looking for new volunteers for Stroke and Turn judges, Starters, and Meet Administrators, and Clerk of Course this year. We have some experienced folks in these roles you can learn the ropes from. The commitment is for roughly half of the meets (3) and an hour training session. Please let me know if you’re interested in taking on one of these roles this year. Thank you in advance for your support.
