Hello Garner Dolphins Families!

We hope everyone is as excited about the start of the season as we are!

As previously communicated, practices will begin on Tuesday, May 27. 6& unders start at 6:15, followed by 7-10 year olds from 7-8, and 11 & up from 8-9. As always, the practice schedule can be found here: https://garner.swimtopia.com/practices.

During this first practice, we will plan to meet with parents to discuss the upcoming season. If your child is in the 6&under or 7-10 age groups, please meet under the shelter at 7:00 for a brief meeting. If your children are in the 11 & up age groups, please meet under the shelter at 8:00 for the same (or similar) brief meeting.

Additionally, individual and team photos this year will be done again by Sam Ray! Sam has been one of the main contributors to meet pics and end of season slideshow. See his handiwork on our share drive. Team pics will be available to download for free. Individual pics (w/ multiple poses) will be available to download for $20/child + $35/two-or-more children. Print options will also be available on Sam’s site via special request.

This year, we're going to plan a few dates to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get individual photos. The first date available will be June 7 (during Saturday morning practice). Then, during Monday, June 9 evening practice we will take the team photo (please make every effort to attend practice this night!). If needed, Sam has offered to also be available on Wednesday, June 10 during regular practice at the pool to take any remaining individual photos. Please keep these dates on your calendar to be sure your swimmers don’t miss the opportunity to have individual photos and to be in the team photos.
