The start of the season is just around the corner!

If you haven’t already, please sign up for a club membership and register your athletes for the swim team.

Our first day of practice is May 26 starting at 6:15pm.

We will have a Parents Meeting at 7:00 on the first night of practice (we might also do one for the parents of older swimmers a little after 8:00), where we’ll welcome new families, review what to expect this season, and highlight helpful resources on the website, including:

• Volunteer role descriptions
• Meet sign-up instructions
• Swim Meet 101
• Upcoming events

It’s not too early to get your athlete outfitted with team gear.

If you prefer to try on suits in person, Kiefer Aquatics in Cary is a great option.

Swim caps are available now and team shirts will be available soon. One latex swim cap is included with your swimmer’s registration, and we will also have silicone caps available for purchase.

We will once again be using the TimeDrops timing system, which has been a great addition—making timing easier, more accurate, and more transparent.

As always, our team depends on volunteers to make the season successful. Use the link, above, to read the descriptions.

We are especially looking to build depth in key roles such as:

• Stroke & Turn Judges
• Starters
• Meet Administrators
• Clerk of Course

Training is provided, and we have experienced volunteers who are happy to help you learn the ropes. The expected commitment is roughly half of the meets (~3) plus a short training session. If you’re interested, please reach out—we’d love to have your support!
