A few quick team updates before we get into Tuesday’s meet details:

Team Photo & Individual Photos

• If your swimmer missed individual photos during the mock meet, Sam will be available for makeup photos during practice on Saturday, June 20.

• This year’s shirt is a simple navy design with the G-logo on the left chest and “2026” in the arm of the G.

TSA Notes (DQ & Sportsmanship Reminder)

• Disqualifications (DQs) are part of learning. Common items the team is working on include:
  • Finishing all the way to the wall
  • Avoiding scissor kicks in breaststroke
  • Finishing on the back in backstroke
  • Two-hand touches in butterfly and breaststroke
• If you have questions about a DQ or rules, please contact a TSA Representative (Jon Hopewell) during the meet.
  • Do not approach coaches or other meet volunteers during the meet with rule concerns.
• As always, please help us lead by example and support ALL swimmers. Our team does a great job here - let’s keep it up!

Tuesday Meet @ Renaissance Park

We’ll be swimming away this week at Renaissance Park Pool (1363 Ileagnes Rd., Raleigh, NC 27603). Visitor warm-ups begin at 5:30 PM, with the meet starting at 6:00 PM. Please plan to arrive on time and be ready for warm-ups. The pool does not have lights, so the meet will wrap up around dark (approximately 9:00 PM).

For swimmers, 6 & Under events will start from the shallow end (not off the blocks), and the National Anthem will be used to kick off the meet.

Parking is available in two lots on either side of the pool, and entry to the pool deck is on the side closest to the playground. Our team area for the evening will be in the corner near the playground. There is limited seating available, so please bring chairs and/or tents if you have them.

Concessions will be available, including pizza, hot dogs, and snacks, and there are water fountains on site for refilling bottles.
